FHA 203K for Remodeling Your Home

This FHA loan program was designed to assist homeowners that would like to upgrade, remodel, add on, repair or rehab their existing home. This loan pays off your existing mortgage and provides funds for your construction project or repairs with a new 30-year fixed payment.

Remodel Construction Loan Program Details:

• Low Rates: Use an inexpensive government backed mortgage refinance loan to rehab, remodel, repair and improve your existing home. 

• Major Renovations or Minor Repairs: This loan can be used for minor maintenance or large scale additions including kitchen remodels, bathroom updates, new roofs, carpet, tile, cabinets, HVAC, paint, covered patios, heath, safety or energy conservation improvements, or basically any improvement to the structure of the house.

• Up to 97% LTV: Use the value of the finished project to determine the loan amount. You can borrow up to 97% of the finished value of the project.

• Easy to Qualify: Credit score is considered, but credit history is more important. If you have paid your debts in a timely manor in the past 12 months and have no open judgments, collections or tax liens, you are likely approved for this loan program from a credit standpoint.

FHA 203K for Purchasing a Home that Needs Work

This FHA loan program was designed to assist home buyers purchase a home and then upgrade, remodel, add on, repair or rehab the new home. This loan pays for the purchase of the "fixer-upper" home and provides funds for the construction rehab or remodel with a low 30-year fixed payment.

Purchase and Rehab Loan Program Details:

• Low Rates: Use Inexpensive government backed mortgage loans to purchase, rehab, remodel, repair and improve a home that needs work. 

• Major Rehab or Minor Repairs: This loan can be used for minor maintenance or large scale additions and rehab including kitchen and bath remodels, or cosmetic items such as carpet or tile.
